Hi Folks,
Well you saw the tins I painted in the So-Cal Speed Shop Design. This is the bike they are for, 89 Sportster old school chain drive model. The plan is a retro hot rod throw back look. So, to start I stripped the bike down to just the frame and engine. After some heavy duty cleaning and de-greasing, I did a little body work on some chipped and rusted areas of the frame. I got that stuff primed. Then sanded the frame and engine.
I painted the engine first with wrinkle black, waited overnight for that to dry. Next I will be painting the frame.
